    1. Conclusion of the contract

    Before submitting your order, the order review offers you the chance to check all the details again (e.g. name, address, payment method and items ordered) and make changes if necessary.

    Once you have gone through the ordering process at by entering the details as prompted, you make a binding offer to purchase the goods from GERMAN SANDALS by clicking on the button "Place order".

    By dispatching the goods you ordered this offer is accepted (and the contract thereby concluded). The contract is therefore brought about when the goods you ordered are dispatched. In certain cases, we may reserve the right not to enter into contract or ask you for proof of identification.

    Your order details are electronically stored. You can print out the "Order confirmation" which appears on your screen once you have submitted your order. You will also receive all the relevant details of your order by e-mail if you have provided us your e-mail address, which you can also print out directly.

    2. Returns policy and right of cancellation

    You have the unconditional right to cancel your contract within 14 days of delivery, without being obliged to state any reasons. All you need to do to comply with this time limit, is to either return the goods bought online or send a return request within the 14-day period by email, telephone or fax to:

    Unless you request an exchange the purchasing contract is cancelled if you return goods bought online and you will be refunded once the delivered goods have been returned. Should the goods show signs of use or damage on return, we reserve the right to appropriate compensation.

    With the exception of orders from Germany we must request that you to return goods at your own cost. You will find all the documents necessary for returning goods together with the delivery note in the parcel. If you no longer have the return documents you may download them from our service section.

    If the goods arrive to you damaged, please contact GERMAN SANDALS for a full refund. Faulty goods or goods damaged in transit are fully refundable, inclusive of delivery, return and extra costs. Please inform our customer service within the first 2 days of arrival.

    Your statutory rights as a customer are not affected by any of these conditions.

    3. Dispatch and Delivery

    Deliveries can only be made while stocks last. In the very rare case that goods are not deliverable, we reserve the right to accept an offer in part. Delivery costs will be calculated on the resulting order value and charged only once.

    If you wish to have our shoes sent to a country you cannot find on this list, please send an e-mail to our support center with your request.
    Our deliveries are made with the delivery service FedEx and its relevant partners.

    An order is usually shipped within one-two working days of its receipt. Please check or shipping section for the estimate time of delivery to the country of your choice.

    Please note that all deliveries must be signed for. DHL and its relevant partners deliver either to you personally, or leave your order with a neighbour. A written note will be left stating the whereabouts of your package. In the case that no one was available to receive the delivery, the note will state a specific post office where you can pick up your delivery within the following 7 days.

    Where delivery is to addresses outside the EU, the customer is liable for all customs, taxes and other fees which may apply.

    We do not accept trade or wholesale customers.

    4. Prices and delivery costs

    We have free delivery and handling offers on orders from all countries depending on the price of purchase. For more information regarding shipping fees to individual countries, please click here.

    Should, for technical or logistic reasons, delivery be undertaken in several stages, delivery costs will of course only be charged once.

    Please note that for all customers outside of the EU all prices stated in the shop are net prices and do not include German VAT. The customer is liable for all customs, taxes and other fees which may apply.

    5. Reservation of ownership

    All goods remain unqualified property of German Sandals - Birkenstock Online until payment has been received in full.

    6. Payments

    Payment for goods is to be made via our payment providers PayPal, Visa and MasterCard. Our payment providers offer you a secure and safe way to buy, if an eligible item doesn’t arrive, or doesn’t match the seller’s description, the Buyer Protection can help you get all your money back, including post and packaging costs.

    From certain countries you may also pay via Bank Transfer.

    The terms and conditions of this contract are in accordance with German law, excluding UN-commerce law, even when ordering from or delivering to a country other than Germany. All points of these terms and conditions remain valid, even if one of the above points is invalid. We reserve the right to change these terms & conditions from time to time and recommend that you should look through them on a regular basis.
